My Strange But True Story Of Internet Marketing Success

Dear Friend,

First off, my apologies for how infrequently I send emails on the topic of writing and/or producing best-selling, money-making information products ... such as books, videos, audio courses, newsletters and so on.

Second, let me give you the reason why I am so bad about sending tips on this subject. Actually the explanation is simple and straight-forward.

Here it is: While others give seminars about How to Make Money on the Internet - I rarely do because ... I am busy as hell "doing" it.

In fact, this year we are on schedule to more than double the sales that we did last year. And no, I'm not talking about going from $5,000.00 per month to $10,000.00 per month in sales.

My friend, I am talking in the MILLIONS of dollars. Last year we did close to 2 million dollars in business. And so, if you do the math, you'll be able to quickly ascertain approximately what "double" or "more than double" means.

I tell you this for two important reasons:

1. I tell you this because "If I don't toot my own horn" - no one but me will ever know about my success - and as a result, I'll have zero credibility. First rule of marketing, let out a roar and tell people what you've done. Yes, some people will take it as nothing but braggadocio and bravado - but those who truly want to succeed, won't. The winners will sit up and pay attention while the losers will ignore me. Truth be told, I could care less what the losers think. This message is ONLY intended for for those who want to win; those who want to kick butt and take names.

2. I tell you this because, no doubt, you DON'T know me from seeing me on stage at all those other Internet Marketing Seminars being held all over tarnation. Ever wonder why you ain't seen me at them? Believe me, the other Internet gurus know about my success - but when they invite me to speak for them I decline because I don't agree with their agenda. Most of what they teach just flat-out doesn't work.

Sure, a bit of it works on a small scale - but that's all it ever is, small-scale stuff that they sell to you.

They sell you pay-per-clicks and affiliate programs and all their worthless crap-head theories about "driving traffic" to make money online. And here's something you'll find interesting but VERY true. Remove the affiliate program from these so-called gurus and they literally do NOT have a business. Sad, but true.

So I'm just not interested in sitting in on a B.S. seminar about the Internet. I'd rather stay home and practice the real "nuts n bolts" approach I use to make major money online.

Now, there is ONE person in the U.S. who invited me to speak on Internet marketing - and he's pretty famous and well known. And when he asked I accepted his invitation.

His name is Dan Kennedy and he has flat out stated that "I" am the "most impressive" of all Internet marketers, and he said this when I was making less than 1/4 of what I'm making now. Dan tells it like it is - as do I. And one year ago he had me give a presentation on what I do online.

And do you know what? All the other gurus in the room - they couldn't take notes fast enough. What's most amusing about this fact is that I was covering "baby-stuff." Literally and truly. That's how far removed these guys are from what I'm doing - from what REALLY, REALLY works.

Let me tell you something, I'm originally from Iowa. Back in Iowa we don't talk real fast. In fact, I brag that I can write a 45 minute speech in about 5 minutes - because after you remove the pauses, there's only about 5 minutes of material. Okay, a slight exaggeration - but really, I'm not like Corey Rudl - who talks 500 mph. I'm more like 50. And the gurus couldn't keep up with what I was saying because they don't know it.

Everything I was saying was new to them. Sure, they watch what I do online. And some of what I do they THINK they can figure out on their own. But they can't. And they are flat-out stunned when they realize how much they missed even when they tried.

They don't understand the psychology of what I do - and believe me, more than half of marketing is just that: psychology.

They also don't understand how I can send out a daily email that earns me over $10,000.00 per day. Yes, that's ten thousand!!! No B.S. No exaggeration.

And key words to highlight are "OVER." How much over? Depends on the day.

A couple weeks ago, during the sale I had to celebrate my daughter's birth - we did over $80,000.00 in 48 hours.

I know, I know. I'm bragging again. But hopefully you're really sitting up and paying attention. And hopefully you're asking a question like: "How in the hell ....?"

Now, you can analyze what I'm doing all you want. You can sit there and tell yourself that you'll be able to figure it out without hearing me explain it to you - but I'm telling you - you can't. Sure, you can gather "bits n pieces." But the bits n pieces you gather may be the wrong ones. In fact, I deliberately do some things online that do NOT work so that my competitors, who are studying my every move, aren't sure which strategy works - and so, if and when they try to copy me, chances are excellent that they copy the wrong things. Have you EVER heard of ANYONE doing THAT?

Not only that, but those who try to copy me, hehe, they do it wrong because they don't know the "how" and the "why" - or anything else. For example, they could say, "Matt Furey sends out a daily email. That makes him a lot of money. I'm going to start emailing my list everyday, too." Then they do so - and they FAIL utterly. They totally FLOP.

But WHY do they flop? They flop because they don't understand how I make what I do work - and they don't understand all the things they did wrong, the things that literally killed their promotion. Their emails resemble mine about as much as my HUMMER resembles the wooden version you see kids playing with in commercials.

Before I go on, let me back up just a second. For YEARS, and still to this day, the so-called gurus on Internet marketing tell you to NOT email your list more than once a week, at most. They will even tell you that once a month is probably better. They'll tell you that people don't have time to read, esp. if it's LONG copy. They'll tell you that people already get "too much" email and if you email too often they either won't read or they'll simply delete or ignore you.

And yes, for THEIR type of boring and useless email - they're right. Hell, once a year is probably too often. For MY approach, however, you can email once, twice, even THREE times per day. Why? Because my approach is radically different.

You know, you can watch the news everyday and still miss all kinds of critical things that the hosts are doing to keep your attention for hours and hours, the same way you can miss all the details I use in my emails and on my webpages. Then when someone explains it to you, you clunk your head and go, "Damn, it should have been so obvious. How did I miss it?"

Well, join the club. The ONE thing the human being is expert on is "missing the obvious."

I'll write more real soon - telling you more "strange but true" information on this whole art and science of making money online with your own books, videos and courses - but for now - I want to tell you something straight out.
