Why Everyone Who is Making Big Money Today Does NOT Have a "Job"

Dear Friend,

Take a look at the following list of former nobody's, failures or has-beens that are now rich, prosperous and by many people's definition, successful:

Rush Limbaugh
Al Franken
Bill O'Reilly
Sean Hannity
Suzanne Somers
Richard Simmons
Dick Morris
Mark Victor-Hansen

Now, guess what each of these people have in common?

If you guessed that all of the above have "books" - you'd be partly right.

If you guessed that all of the above, in one form or another, are "selling information" - you'd be more accurate.

And if you went a step further and said, "Many of the people on the list above have 'Day Jobs' - and they figured out a way to make even more money from their day job without having to do anymore work" - you'd be right on.

Now forget politics. And forget whether you like or hate anyone on the list above. Simply study what they have done “above and beyond” what their 'day job' is and how this extra thing they do while “working” has earned them their fortune.

Now, after you’ve done this – let me tell you, your eyes start to open real wide. And things get real, real good for you when you understand that you don’t even when you lack the fame of the HUGE stars – you can attain financial success in a very similar way.

Let me give you an example of how this is done by using my story as the “poster boy.” Why me? Because what I am doing is actually a far easier formula to model than the radio-tee-vee model. Here’s why:

From 1987 thru 1996, I made the majority of my money as a personal fitness trainer. I started out by charging $16.66 per hour. Later I went to $20.00, then $25.00, then $30.00, $40.00, and so on. Today, I have a “daily rate” where I work with someone for a maximum of six hours - and my fee is $15,000.00 - $25,000.00 (depending on the nature of the advice being given).

Probably doesn't make any sense to you just yet, does it? Afterall, how in the hell did I make the transition from $50.00 an hour to $25,000 for six?

Well, pay close attention. The answer is very simple: I got published.

Moreover, I didn't just "get published" - I took the ball into my own hands and "self" published.

There are many, many reasons why you'll want to self-publish too - and they extend FAR beyond the notion that no one else will take a chance with you.

Truth is, when you self-publish - you control the content of the product. You also control how the content is published. Is it going to be a $20 book that you'd get in the bookstore - or a $697 course that comes in a 3-ring binder with some audio or video thrown in?

Big difference.

Is the book or info-product going to set up seminars and speaking engagements for you? Is it going to help you get big consulting jobs? Is it going to directly or indirectly market other products for you, and so on - ad infinitum, ad nauseum.

Here’s what happened with me when I started to figure this “game” out: After I published my Combat Conditioning book and put together a winning marketing strategy - my income soared. And once my income soared, I understood that training someone for an hour for $50.00 - or even $100.00, was, for the most part, a complete waste of time.

Why train someone for a cheap hourly wage when I can reach and help far more people (and make far more money) with my books and courses? Why work for an hourly wage only - when I could figure out a way to make a non-stop income.

Now mark my words: All wealthy people set their life up in such a way that they work once and get paid forever - or at least for a very, very long time. They may still elect to do some "hourly work - just as I will when people pay my fee. But the key is I “don’t have to.” I have a choice. And the reason why I have a choice is because I did what all famous people and celebrities do. I got published.

There’s an old saying, “Publish or perish.” It could very easily have stated the truth in even plainer English. “Publish and get rich – or work til you drop.”

In a nutshell, here’s my bottom line formula:

Write book - market book - make money – quit current job - or take another job that allows me to sell my products while I work.

Read the above paragraph again and as you do, think of O'Reilly and Limbaugh - and the others. They have their so-called day job - but even that is, in many ways, a marketing tool for them to make even more money from their products and services and speeches.

Tis a brilliant way to play the game, don’t you think?

Now get this: When the marketing machine is really cranking, you literally make money all day long, even while sleeping at night.

For example, here’s a snapshot of my day: Today, I got up early and went for a swim. I made money while I swam.

Then I came home and read a couple books. I made money while I read.

I then wrote an email to my fitness list. While I wrote that email - and before I sent it out, money was still pouring in.

After I wrote the email I made a few phone calls. As I spoke on the phone, the money rolled in.

Then I took my son to the gym and worked out with him. Then I took him out to eat. Then I returned home and checked my numbers. The ENTIRE day, no matter what I was doing, was a money maker.

Now, let me ask you: Is there ANY reason why you wouldn't want your life to flow like that?
